Seeing HOW it could be done — gets it done

Good Evening, God

Me again. I asked myself a few weeks ago — what would it take to go back to a daily blog? EASY, said I. If I was sure no one would read them I could churn them out easily! Hmm. Well, I have stopped sending them to friends and so I am fairly close to no one. And, truly, they are mostly so I can hear myself.

I have had these dear orchids for months. I LOVE orchids! Their COLORS and their shapes delight me. And as I ran out of room inside I stuck them outside in my back patio. The one facing south. And they SURVIVED! And every time I watered them I accused myself. It must be part of being uber responsible. I could not just toss them in the trash. I had bought them, enjoyed them — they were my responsibility!

Well, all this came about the Same Time I was realizing that I was my Primary Responsibility! Hmm. But, I managed to watch a video on orchid transplanting AND bought the orchid bark to put them in. That was weeks ago, Yesterday the plastic containers arrived via Amazon. And I woke up this morning SEEING how I could do this messy work inside! I had been stopped by the idea I would have to do it outside….. and I was still afraid of midge bites.

Aah, once I could see just how it could be done — doing it was easy! Thus this afternoon here are these 5 transplanted orchids — sitting outside in a little drizzle. Tomorrow I will give them another sprinkle on their leaves and bring them in.

Will they bloom? In Hawaii, they almost always bloomed again. But this in Arizona. Frankly, I am amazed they survived out in the “extreme heat” we have been having. And having them bloom is pushing it. But, I have done what I felt I had to do.

They are in Your Hands, God.

I’m asking myself the same question! Only in my case I’d happily plump for weekly. Well done with your orchids.
