It puts me in mind of one of my favorite quotes (by Paul Watslawick) that the Primary Purpose of communication is to Confirm our Existence as Human Beings. It doesn’t take much — a nod, a smle, a glance, even. I think of that quote as an extension of Your Command, God, to “Love our Neighbor as we love Ourselves.”
And, God, I’m also thankful for realizing that once I am home again, I must see about resting more fully — and resting more fully in You.
It seems that blue light — especially that emitted by computers, iPads and iPhones etc. — tells our bodies we should keep on staying awake and alert. Harvard’s Medical School has a good article about it.
