All manor of things are shifting

Good Evening, God

Aaah, a fresh start. My complicated draft on salvaging — got eaten. IT WAS Saved! But, I didn’t want to take the time to figure out HOW to find a draft. And I had a sneaky suspicion that it wasn’t what I was supposed to do.

This is one of the few photos I have taken first thing in the morning. And it just right out my front door. About two weeks ago I noticed a no-see-em bite. Oh oh! These invisible biting midges had traumatized me in our first Fall here. I moved us away from the north window and into the small south bedroom. Kit got the twin bed. I got sheepskins on the floor. Not terrible comfortable . . . but I was no longer waking with itchy bug bites.

So, after a ring of bites around my neck, back I went to the small and dark south bedroom. And again — no more bites. I have been cowed by bugs too small to see. But as often happens — I am benefiting from the change. Before, my focus was on the BEAUTY of the morning light.

Now my focus is on me. Not as aesthetically gratifying, true. But I am realizing that Self Care is my First Priority Responsibility. I had not thought of it as a Personal Responsibility! Now I am discovering a variety of ways to help myself. I am researching! It is sort of a game. And, now, as part of that growing awareness. I am off to bed!
