This is an image to go with Father Meninger’s blog which I’m reposting.
There are lots of images that show the Holy Spirit in her POWER MODE and that’s great!
But as I long for an increased AWARENESS of The Holy Spirit to fill me — I need to be reminded that i need to sit quietly — patiently, waiting. Rather as I would behave to get an ordinary bird to approach me.
The Holy Spirit longs for me to ASK for her help . . . to request her Healing and Cleansing Presence. And to “move over” so she can do her loving thing in me.
So simple. So profound. And all too seldom requested . . . .
