For nine years my mom became, a major focus — and for Kit, too, as he visited her almost as much as I did. At first, the loss of my mom, a beloved focal point, was disorienting. My Center was missing. Bad enough to be grieving, God, without feeling aimless.

During this “class,” Dr. Cracknell explained that if our head is one inch forward of plumb, we double the stress on our back muscles. If our head is two inches forward we quadruple our muscle stress. It is an exponential relationship. Yikes!
But, I am Home now. And I am in need of refilling. I loved being “poured out” — that lovely extroverted time of being connected — of sharing — of hearing and being heard.
Still, God, I am constantly amazed by what science does discover. And I know that “what we don’t know” far exceeds “what we do know.”
