Smite us with Your Radiant Love!

Smite us with Your Radiant Love!

I’m laughing at my poor dear self
Who is no longer allowed to ASK
You to smite my enemies

Nope!  Now I see they have been
Tempted in ways I have not….

We are all so easily tempted and led astray
by beings Talking of Light
And so we must BLESS and not curse

And Pray for You to  Cleanse and Forgive Us …and then
Do the same for our Enemies

Why?  Because we wrestle with Powers and Principalities
Not flesh and blood

We are being Strengthened and cleansed
In the struggle

All of us need to be Smote with Your Radiant LOVE….
Which, it seems, we have to ASK FOR

Something about The Free Will Deal I guess
Please…
I’m asking

Story teller,

Posted in a prayer for healing, A Spiritual Spring Cleaning, being FORGIVEN by God, Blessing, connecting, Forgiven!, Forgiving, LOVE, opportunities to forgive myself, praying, Praying for our enemies, the gift of persistent love
