New meanings for Upright

During this “class,” Dr. Cracknell explained that if our head is one inch forward of plumb, we double the stress on our back muscles. If our head is two inches forward we quadruple our muscle stress. It is an exponential relationship. Yikes!

Intra Communication and the Holy Spirit

Apparently, we have a plethora of systems or modules inside us. Some are distributed on the left or right side of our brains and some are distributed across the brain. PLETHORA! I looked it up and it is a “superabundance, an excess.”

Carousels and the Delight of Daily Life

But, now I am sitting here and wondering if “progress” isn’t a fairly recent concept. I wonder if it came in with the railroads? There is something quite linear about most concepts of progress . . . linear and constraining.
