A Morning at the Beach

Good Morning, God! I love silhouettes! That way I don’t invade people’s privacy. And these folks — either going out or coming back from surfing — caught the JOY of the morning. Then too, there is the BLUE of the

Good Day, God! I am back home now . . . having been with my daughters . . . and having an Upgraded Appreciation of what Being With means. As I sit here . . . waiting for words to

Angry Birds and the Game of Life

Good Morning, God! I began my day by sitting and listening in Centering Prayer. And what I heard is — It isn’t about Words. It is about Hearts. Oddly enough, that leads me into reflections on the Angry Birds game.

Words about Wonder from the Poet Denise Levertov

Good Morning, God! Denise Levertov said it so well, God, in her poem Primary Wonder: “Days pass when I forget the mystery. Problems insoluble and problems offering their own ignored solutions jostle for my attention, they crowd its antechamber along
