The Joy of Praying with a friend

The only think that I experience as even better — is to talk to You with others! It is more that just “praying” with someone. It is as if each person is Listening and Responding with You “helping”. That kind of prayer is one of the most meaningful things I do. And afterwards I feel more Alive . . . more Aerated . . . more Joyful.
How is it, God, that Praying isn’t presented that way? Oh, I do wish prayer were Packaged Properly!

Changing directions — a Helpful Tug

The Power of Blessing

Actually, just speaking words out loud is powerful. The spoken word HAS power! Even little muttered phrases have power. Negative thoughts are harmful. Negative words are worse. How much better it is to speak forth Your Hope and Promises, God!

Boston Marathon Eve

C. S. Lewis was right when he said Pride was the worst sin of all — because it separates us from God, other people, and in my case, even from parts of myself.

Wanting, Seeking, Asking — for God’s Help

You had given us a powerful Ferrari but we kept it in the garage and only rolled it out 4 or 5 times a year to sit in it.

A Dove in a Time of Turbulence

I did. And I am convicted of my need to pray daily for those in authority — over us, and over others. Fruitful Prayer is not always Easy Prayer. It takes faith. And to pray for peace? That takes a lot of faith. Please help us!

It seems that Play, like Sleep, has positive functions that the Work Obsessed Mind cannot see.
